Madison Property Management sues to evict State St. dumpling restaurant

Madison Property Management has filed a small claims eviction suit against David Bonk, the new proprietor of Pel'meni, a dumpling restaurant at 505 State St.

According to state records, an eviction hearing is scheduled for March 28. The charge was filed March 13.

The embattled restaurant is currently remodeling after Bonk, who runs the original Pel'meni restaurant in Alaska, emerged victorious from a legal battle that pitted him against Paul Schwoerer, former owner of the Madison Pel'meni, for ownership of the State Street location.
