Ag Hall to have ice cream at 100th birthday

The UW-Madison building Agriculture Hall is celebrating its 100th birthday this year with an ice-cream-creation contest.

Highlighted in the National Register of Historical Places in 1978, Ag Hall has been noted for its attractive structure and accessibility for numerous activities. Ag Hall not only houses the largest lecture auditorium on campus, but has supported many scientific accomplishments over the past 100 years.

UW-Madison's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, in cooperation with Babcock Ice Cream, will be holding a contest to name the commemorative flavor to celebrate the centennial. Students and staff are invited to submit their ideas for a new flavor and name to be featured later this year.
