The Badgers split their weekend series with the St. Cloud State Huskies (2-4-0 WCHA, 2-7-0 overall) at the Capitol Ice Arena.
The first game Friday night saw a 4-2 victory for Wisconsin (1-4-1 WCHA, 5-4-1 overall), who scored all of their goals on power plays. Sophomore defenseman Nicole Uliasz notched three assists on the night. The Badgers outshot their opponents 42-12.
The second time around it was the Huskies who took control, as St. Cloud managed an upset 5-3 victory. Senior forward Abby Cooper put in two goals for SCSU.

Badger forwards sophomore Jackie Friesen and freshman Nikki Burish finished the weekend with two goals each.
The women's hockey squad will face No. 10 Mercyhurst next weekend in Erie, Penn.
