The Ohio State Buckeyes football squad (6-0 Big Ten, 11-0 overall) moved up to first place in the latest Bowl Championship
Series rankings.
The Buckeyes, who defeated Wisconsin 19-14 Oct. 19, have amassed an undefeated record while playing some of the top teams in the nation. Their resume of wins includes No. 4 Washington State, Texas Tech and No. 16 Penn State.

The Buckeyes received the top ranking over the defending champion Miami Hurricanes despite the fact that they barely escaped with a 10-6 victory over Purdue this last weekend.
The Buckeyes will travel to Illinois this weekend before finishing the season against arch-rival Michigan in two weeks.
