Wisconsin's men's cross country team placed fifth overall with 245 points and two top 10 finishers at the NCAA Men's Cross Country Championships 10,000-meter race Monday.
Running together, freshman Matt Tegenkamp finished seventh with a time of 29:26 while teammate Josh Spiker took eighth in 29:29.
Both Tegenkamp and Spiker beat freshman Big Ten champion Alan Webb from Michigan, who placed 11th in 29:38.

Colorado edged out Stanford for the NCAA Championship by one point for the team title.
The Buffaloes (90 points), Stanford (91), Arkansas (118) and Northern Arizona (193) rounded out the top four spots.
Boaz Chiboiywo of Eastern Michigan placed first individually with a time of 28:47.
