New committee’s future rests on student’s shoulders

A small group of University of Wisconsin-Madison student leaders gathered for a walking tour of the Langdon Street area Wednesday night to identify unsafe areas on campus to be addressed in the Associated Students of Madison’s fall Sexual Assault Awareness campaign.
UPDATE: The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office released the name of the student in a statement as John "Vietnam" Nguyen. Nguyen was 19 years-old from Chicago IL. The statement also confirms Nguyen's cause of death as an "accidental drowning."
