The University of Wisconsin-Madison is one of 20 schools across the country with food-delivering robots rolling around its campus. Formally called Starships, the six-wheelers with an orange flag waving above began navigating around campus in 2019 to deliver food right to students' dorms. Students can use the Starship app connected with the university’s dining service to get freshly-made meals delivered straight to them in times of inclement weather, in the middle of studying or when feeling especially lazy.

University of Wisconsin-Madison students and local residents gathered at campus polling locations on Feb. 21 to vote in local and state primary elections. Ballots across campus included primaries for Madison mayor, alderperson in Districts 2, 4, 8 and 5 and for Wisconsin State Supreme Court Justices. The winners of each primary will face off on April 4 in the final election.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison released a list of the majors that added the most students between the fall semesters of 2018 and 2022 last week. Topping the list was data science, which added 914 students since the major’s inception in 2018, followed by computer science with 642; both are contained within the School of Computer, Data & Information Sciences.
