Bite of the Week

By: Jay Storey /The Daily Cardinal  - April 29, 2007

Assorted Sushi Rolls

Wasabi, 449 State St.

The Scoop: The sushi craze that hit the average American diner’s palette a few years ago is old news, but in the world of raw fish ‘n’ rice, there’s always something new to try. Case in point: raw octopus, complete with visible suckers. Chewy with a sweet lobster-esque flavor. Try a piece alongside a few specialty rolls from Wasabi’s exciting list.

Health implications: One of the best parts of sushi: you can eat a plateful of some of the most vibrant and diverse flavors, and walk away feeling light and healthy.

Value: Sushi is a sampler’s paradise, with rolls ranging from $2 to $10. One exotic piece of octopus will only run you $1.80.
