BADGER BITS

UW football signs another

Daven Jones, wide receiver and kick returner from Cleveland, Ohio, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play at Wisconsin, head coach Bret Bielema announced Thursday.

Jones graduated from Glenville High School in 2006 but was academically ineligible to play at UW last season. He attended Milford Academy in New Berlin, N.Y. instead.

""We felt good about Daven a year ago and still feel good about him,"" Bielema said in a statement. ""He is a talented receiver and return man and we're looking forward to having him on campus.""
